Earned only · Worth nothing

A balance with no exit

Demo games at Birchcove cost nothing, so credits were never going to be a price tag. What they are instead is a record: how often you turn up, how long you stay, how far up the ladder that has carried you. Every one of them is handed out for free activity, and not one of them can leave the platform.

Six places credits come from

Five of these happen on their own while you use the site. Only the daily check-in asks you to press anything.

Opening your account
Paid once, the moment the account exists. The form wants an email and a username; nothing else is asked for, then or later.
1,200once
Minutes with a demo open
Counted per minute and multiplied by your tier. The clock halts the moment you leave the tab and picks up when you return. Earning stops for the day at 120 minutes.
12per minute, before tier
Meeting a title for the first time
A one-off discovery payment, waiting behind each of the thirteen games until you open it.
125per first launch
Claiming the daily check-in
Sixty credits plus twelve for every day already banked in the cycle. That puts day one at 72 and day thirty at 420, before the bonus days are counted.
72–420per day
Crossing into a new tier
Settled the instant your XP clears the threshold. The payment scales with the tier number, so Zenith is worth five times what Flint was.
620–3,100per tier
Clearing an achievement
Ten of them in total, running from your very first launch up to opening every last title on the shelf.
120–5,600each

Ten tiers, Pebble to Zenith

Alongside credits, everything you do pays XP, and XP is a one-way count — it never falls, and no action can take it back. Where it lands sets your tier, and the tier sets the multiplier on minutes played. Nothing else is touched by it: check-ins, discoveries and achievements pay the same at Zenith as they did at Pebble.

The 30-day cycle

One claim per day, and each claim is worth a little more than the last. Three days carry an extra payment on top — 240 more on day 7, 340 on day 14, 820 on day 21. Reach day thirty and a closing bonus of 2,600 credits and 620 XP lands with it, after which the counter returns to day one. Skip a day and the cycle simply starts over; nothing already earned is taken back, only the streak.

What credits are for

Your profile page is the only thing a balance can be pointed at.

Avatar rings

Six of them, Pebble through Zenith. Each asks for a balance and a tier at the same time, which means no amount of grinding credits alone will get you the last one early.

Page themes

Four colour treatments for the profile itself. Three of them cost credits and none of them care what tier you are.

And that is the list

Nothing is spent inside a game. The demos come straight from the provider in free-play mode, and no figure on your profile reaches into them.

What credits are not

  • Not for sale. No shop exists here, no payment form exists here, and no page on this site will ask you for a card.
  • Not transferable. A balance belongs to one account and cannot be handed, sold or gifted to another.
  • Not convertible. No withdrawal, no redemption, no exchange into money, prizes or goods of any description.
  • Not a stake. Every title runs in free demo mode, so there is nothing to place credits on in the first place.
  • Not worth anything. Their monetary value is zero on this platform and zero everywhere else.

They keep score and they change the colour of a profile page. That is the whole of it.

Questions

Is an account really necessary?

For earning, yes — a balance has to belong to something, and the same account is what the launcher checks before a demo opens. Signing up is free, takes about as long as typing an email address, and never touches payment details.

Is there any way to buy credits?

None. Nothing on this platform is for sale, so no purchase route exists to build. Every figure on your balance got there through free activity, and payment information is never requested.

What if I want to cash out?

That is not something the system can do. Credits hold no monetary value and convert to nothing — not money, not prizes, not goods. There is no redemption path because there is nothing on the other side of one.

Why does earning stop partway through the day?

Minutes stop paying once you pass 120 in a day. Two reasons: it keeps the ladder worth climbing, and it removes any point in parking a demo in a background tab. Check-ins, first-launch bonuses and achievements ignore the cap entirely.

Does time count while I am in another tab?

It does not. The counter watches whether this page is actually visible and holds still whenever it is not. Come back and it carries on from where it stopped.

Does logging out cost me anything?

Nothing at all. Logging out ends the session and leaves the balance, tier, streak and achievement list exactly as they were. Return in a week or in a year and it is all still sitting there.

I skipped a day — what did that cost?

Only the streak. The thirty-day counter drops back to day one, while credits, XP, tier and every achievement stay exactly where they were.

Does any of this reach the reels?

No. Demos load straight from the provider and run under the provider's own free-play rules. Balance, tier and achievements sit entirely outside that frame and have no influence on a single spin.

The ladder opens at 1,200

Register, and the welcome balance is there before you have finished reading this. After that it is only a question of which title to open first.
